Privacy policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data aterarchitects.com collects, why, and what rights you have. The site is run by ater.architects, an architecture and interior design studio in Kyiv, Ukraine (“we”). We process personal data in line with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and, for visitors from the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who to contact
ater.architects, Kyiv, Ukraine — hello@aterarchitects.com, +380 93 592 35 59. Write to us with any question about your data or to exercise your rights.
What we collect
- Contact form. Your name, email address, and — if you choose to give them — phone number, project type and the text of your message.
- Emails and calls. Whatever you send us when you contact us directly.
- Technical data. Like any web server, ours records the IP address, browser type, requested page and time of each visit in server logs. These are used only for security and troubleshooting.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not build visitor profiles. Fonts are served from our own server, so no data is sent to font providers.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and discuss a possible project — based on your consent and on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- To keep the website secure and working — based on our legitimate interest.
We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- OVHcloud — hosting of the website and its database (servers in the United Kingdom).
- Google Workspace — our email, where messages from the form are delivered.
These providers act on our instructions and are bound by their own data-protection terms. The United Kingdom is recognised by the EU as providing an adequate level of data protection; Google processes data under its standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Form messages and correspondence: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless we start working together — then for as long as the project and our legal obligations require.
- Server logs: up to 14 days.
Cookies
The public website does not set cookies for visitors. Technical cookies are used only when our team logs in to manage the site.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect processing done before. To do any of this, email hello@aterarchitects.com. You also have the right to complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or, in the EU, to your local data-protection authority.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
